Lloyd Branson
Partner
Lloyd joined Continental Marketing in 1987 as an account manager, representing all Washington State accounts. Two years later in 1989 he became a partner in the company. Prior to Continental Marketing, Lloyd spent 11 years with Pay n Save in Seattle at store-level management, as well as a buyer and merchandise manager in photo electronics. He believes his retail training and work ethic contributed highly to his efforts as an account manager. He has learned the importance of listening to the needs of both his client and customer accounts to provide them with the products and services they need. Lloyd has never considered himself a "pitch-man" but rather a service provider for the people he works with. This philosophy has worked well as an integrated piece in the overall direction of Continental Marketing over the years.
When premier warehouse club business started to grow in 1989, Lloyd began to work exclusively with Costco Wholesale handling all categories Continental Marketing serviced. As business grew, Lloyd enlisted Bob Trout and Glenn Meehan to oversee the houseware, hardware, and e-commerce business, so he could focus exclusively on the electronics and office categories. Lloyd believes Continental Marketing has the best team in sales and service for understanding Costco's needs, and in turn is able to translate that to programs that benefit other Continental Marketing clients.
Lloyd and his wife Sheila have two grown children, Amber and Travis, two sons living at home, Josh and Preston, and four grand children. He enjoys bass fishing, antiques, and enjoys his quiet life at home in Ocean Shores, Washington.
